All being well I shall be using my S7000 on the trip. I've had it several years and as yet, not had a chance to fully utilise all its functionality. I'm definitely looking forward to this aspect of the trip. I've had a long line of cameras over the years and although I'm no photography expert or hard core enthusiast, I do think that I can cut the mustard and have a naturally good eye for seeing 'the shot' so Im hoping for some memorable pictures. Nothing like putting pressure on my self - Lol :)

Follow up:
- The high sensitivity settings will cover most situations as the Fuji S7000 Zoom has an auto equivalent to ISO 160-800 and a manual equivalent to ISO 200/400/800. Allowance for white balance can be made in both automatic and manual, with manual including shade, fine, incandescent and a range of fluorescents.
- The Finepix S7000 has a selection of shooting modes including automatic or various scene modes including landscape, portrait, night and sport. Colour modes available are black and white, chrome and standard.
- Various modes within the flash are available. There is auto flash which uses a flash control sensor or other modes to chose from including; red eye reduction, suppressed flash and slow synchro.
- Images can be viewed on the 1.8" LCD monitor and the Finepix S7000 Zoom runs on 4 x AA alkaline batteries. Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are an optional accessory as is the AC power adaptor.
- To give added flexibility the Finepix S7000 has dual card format: xD-Picture Card and Microdrive.
- AVI format movies with sound can be recorded at 30fps.
